Matilda Gennvi
Matilda Gennvi is Head of Corporate Citizenship, Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility (CR) at the Ericsson Group level. As Head of Corporate Citizenship, she has the responsibility for the global program Ericsson Volunteers, as well as Ericsson´s approach to donations.
Since 1997, Ms Gennvi has worked at Ericsson in various positions. In her previous role at the Group level, Ms Gennvi focused on sustainability stakeholder engagement, strategy and reporting. Prior to that Ms Gennvi worked with integrating sustainability into the Internet of Things (IoT) business, for example in customer cases, business development and offering reviews. Before being in the IoT business area, Ms Gennvi were driving Ericsson’s sustainability strategy including the company’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how Information and Communication Technology (ICT) enables the acceleration of reaching the SDGs.
She has been a member of the Momentum for Change Advisory Panel, led by the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat, for four years, as well as until early 2017 board member of the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI). Ms Gennvi was also the partner responsible for 7 years of collaboration between UN-Habitat and Ericsson.
During the early and mid-1990s, Matilda Gennvi worked for Procordia Food AB as Environmental Manager and Head of two production sites. Ms Gennvi holds a Master of Science in Industrial Management including Environmental Management.
